Chemical reaction is the process that lead to transformation from one substance/object to another comtemporary substances. In order to determined if a chemical reactions have occured or not, scientist created the standards to regulate our understanding. Evidences included color changes, alternation in temperature and the formation of a precipitation or gas. A recognizable example, especially for American is leavened bread. To make this type of bread rise, yeast and sugar response inside the bread dough, where the atmosphere is humid like warm water. This performance generate CO2 air pocket, which rise the dough. Therefore, we could said that a chemical reaction has happened because of the difference in size of the bread dough due to precipitation production from the chemical reaction.

EVIDENCES FOR CHEMICAL REACTION
LAW OF CONSERVATION OF MASS

The Law of Conservation of Mass stated that mass can neither be created nor destroyed before, during and after a chemical reaction. Accordingly, the mass of the system must remain constant overtime. In other words, the reactants and products will have the exact same amounts of molecules. Look at the following equation:

C3H8 + 5O2 --> 4H2O + 3CO2

We could see that on the reactants' side (left) contained 3 carbon, 8 hydrogen and also 10 oxygen molecules. Similarly, there is also 3 carbon, 8 hydrogen and 10 oxygen molecules on the products' side (right). Subsequently, to identified a chemical equation that follow the law of conservation of mass, both the reactants and products' side must be equal to each other.

EXOTHERMIC AND ENDOTHERMIC

Exothermic reaction is a term that describe the discharge of energy in a system, mostly are thermal energy due to the formation of new bonds. In other words, exothermic reaction is often a combustion reaction. Oxidation of propane is widely used in the modern world. Gas cooking stove used this reactions to generate fire for cooking purpose. When we flick the switch at the gas cooking stove, the highly-pressured propane ran up to met the air and create heat. Also, other industrial usage for propane and oxygen is propane torches and gas burner in construction sites. Usually, this will eject the propane and when its meet air, fire combusted. Yet, people could also use pure oxygen tank to aid the flame to a higer temperature.

Meanwhile, endothermic reactions illustrated the absorption of any sort of energy from the surrounding. It is the direct contrast of exothermic reaction. Although endothermic is not well-known as much as exothermic process, but the most concealed representative of the endothermic reactions is photosynthesis. Unlike other endothermic reactions, photosynthesis gain energy from sunlight during the chemical reaction worked inside the chrolophyll. Summarized, the plants take carbon dioxide and water from the ground, combined with sunlight, which provoke glucose and oxygen to be release back the atmosphere.
